Our Challenge
Collaborating with specialists in architecture and design, the concrete restoration project focuses on revitalizing a significant landmark. Erected in 1963, this Brutalist masterpiece stands as a cornerstone of the Yale campus, commanding attention from a gateway corner. Spanning 114,000 square feet, the cast-in-place concrete structure boasts a formidable exterior that contrasts with its intricately designed interior. With 37 terraced levels spread across nine stories, including two below ground, the building offers a surprisingly expansive and multifaceted space within its fortress-like facade

“The restoration is superb. Restoration and renovation work is either invisible or so well tuned to Rudolph’s original vision that it appears to have always been this way.”
